PROJECT SUCCESS
We have three PROJECT SUCCESS counselors on campus Monday - Friday
Project Success is a partnership between Sonoma County Office of Education, Cloverdale High School, and Social Advocates for Youth. Project SUCCESS stands for "Schools Using Coordinated Community Efforts to Strengthen Students."
Project Success is an evidence-based student assistance program to address issues of alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse as well as strengthen protective factors in the student body. The program includes school-wide awareness activities, assessments, a prevention education series in the classroom, parent events, and individual and group counseling. Groups may include COSAP (Children of Substance Abusing Parents), users groups, Assessment and Education groups, Seniors groups, and newcomers groups for students new to the school district. All freshmen entering Cloverdale High School in the Fall 2009 will receive the prevention education series, delivered in the "Strategies for Success" classroom.
